ROTARY IN ACTION

Explore more ways our club shows up throughout the year to support, serve, and strengthen the Carpentersville community.

Service Above Self, All Year Long

At the Rotary Club of Carpentersville, service goes beyond a single event. Throughout the year, our members come together to care for neighbors, support local families, invest in students, and create meaningful moments of connection across our community.

Supporting Seniors

From hosting Senior Lunch gatherings to sharing music, conversation, and care, we are proud to create moments that help older adults in our community feel seen, appreciated, and connected.

These efforts remind us that service is not only about meeting practical needs — it is also about bringing joy, dignity, and human connection.

Caring for Our Community Spaces

Through community clean-up efforts and hands-on service projects, Rotary members roll up their sleeves to help keep Carpentersville clean, welcoming, and cared for.

Whether it is a roadway, a public space, or a shared gathering place, we believe the condition of our surroundings reflects the pride we take in our community.

Investing in Local Youth

We believe in supporting the next generation through scholarship opportunities and encouragement for students pursuing college, trade school, and vocational pathways.

By investing in young people today, we help strengthen the future of our community for years to come.

If you've traveled along Western Avenue, you may have seen the Rotary Club of Carpentersville name on the Adopt-a-Highway signs. Those signs represent an ongoing commitment by our club to help care for this stretch of our community. Our spring and fall cleanup days are when that commitment turns into action—and you're welcome to join us. Check out more details about the Adopt-a-Highway Program.

Bring a Friend. Bring Your Family. Serve With Rotary.

You don't have to be a Rotary member to serve alongside us. Community volunteers are welcome, and volunteering is a great way to meet our members, learn more about Rotary, and make a visible difference right here in Carpentersville.

A Club That Serves in Many Ways

Some impact happens through large events. Some happens quietly—one project, one partnership, one act of service at a time.

However it shows up, Rotary is committed to meeting real needs in our community.

Community Impact Highlights

Here are a few examples of how our club brings service to life throughout the year.
Children receiving coats through Operation Warm

Operation Warm

Thanks to your generous support, we’re able to give back to our community in more ways than one.

Over the past 10 years, we’ve distributed nearly 5,000 coats to local children in need.

Every year we partner with the Boys & Girls Club of Dundee Township to hand out coats within our community, and seeing the kids’ smiles is truly heartwarming.

Your contributions through our fundraisers make this possible, helping us bring warmth and joy to children throughout the season. Thank you for your continued support and for making a difference with us each year.

Rotary Club of Carpentersville supporting Kane County Senior Council

Kane County Senior Council

The Rotary Club of Carpentersville, in partnership with several other local Rotary clubs, has joined forces with the Kane Senior Council to make a meaningful impact in our community.

We proudly presented a matching grant from the Rotary District, totaling over $1,500, to support their important work with seniors.

Together, we’re making a difference—one project at a time.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Rotary Club of Carpentersville had a great time participating in this year’s Thom McNamee Memorial Dundee St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the Village of East Dundee.

Shout out to the Village of Carpentersville, the Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce, and members of the Carpentersville Village Board for being our float partners.

It was wonderful to see so many families out celebrating. We thank the organizers and partners who make this annual tradition a success.
