Check out ths great article from the Daily Herald!

In collaboration with other Local Rotary Clubs we are proud to announce our participation in a project providing local CASA children with suitcases filled with basic essentials a child will need when being relocated to a safe location through court appointment. Over 500 children are helped through this program and 8% of these children come from the Carpentersville area! Through our recent fundraising events and support from people like you we are able to donate

$500

to the cause which will provide a number of suitcases and essentials for needy children in the CASA program.

Here is a picture of club member and village mayor Ed Ritter with a donation check to the CASA organization.

What is CASA?... Good question!

CASA Kane County is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the Juvenile Court system.

Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian ad Litem (CASA/GAL) volunteers are ordinary people doing extraordinary things to serve over 500 children in our abuse/neglect and probate courts each year.
